El Hase is a pioneer of graffiti culture and urban art in Venezuela and developed his personal style in the streets of his hometown Caracas. In 1999, while studying graphic design, he began enriching his basic graffiti style with elaborate concepts and techniques such as stencils, prints, etchings and digital media.

Hase’s current artistic direction is based in the Latin popular aesthetic, posters of B-movies, and low-brow and graffiti art. Recently, he’s been working on a series entitled "La Lucha" (The Struggle), which allude to Venezuelan boxing icons and religious figures whose lives parallel those of ordinary people.

El Hase has participated in numerous art shows in Venezuela, Barcelona, New York, and Los Angeles.
